Erik is still doing exceptionally well with his recovery! The vacuum pump has been disconnected, and there's a lot less fluid in the other two drains. He's getting around really well with just crutches now - he can even carry things! He still has trouble bending over, as you might imagine, and there's still a fair amount of pain from the incisions, but he's taking very few pain meds, and is doing great with the exercises the doctors have given him!
Unless anything changes, I won't write again until the 14th, after he's had another CT scan and has seen the medical team.
