Erik passed away this morning. He had a really emotional day yesterday - we're so grateful that Ross his social worker was here for him. I know he was more at peace, having had those moments. His hospice nurse gave him his medications early afternoon, and he went to sleep for the rest of the day and night, and passed without waking up. His dad, brother, and uncle were also with him at the end, and it was very peaceful.
I can't tell you how much it's meant to me to have such support and love from all of you. I never thought I'd be going through this kind of situation, and to be able to share it with all of you lightened the burden. I'm so grateful - thank you.
